<p><b>Job Title: Firewall Specialist</b></p><p><b>Job Summary</b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <b>Firewall Specialist</b> to support, monitor, and configure enterprise <b>Firewall and DMZ infrastructure</b>. The role focuses on optimizing firewall rule sets, ensuring secure network operations, and supporting the development and enhancement of networking and security solutions.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Monitor, configure, and maintain <b>Firewall and DMZ infrastructure</b></li><li>Optimize and manage <b>firewall rule sets</b> to improve security and performance</li><li>Support day-to-day firewall operations, incident resolution, and change implementation</li><li>Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot security and connectivity issues</li><li>Collaborate with network, security, and development teams to enhance security controls</li><li>Participate in the design and improvement of networking and security products</li><li>Ensure adherence to security standards, policies, and best practices</li></ul><p><b>Mandatory Skills & Qualifications</b></p><p>✅ <b>Hands-on experience supporting and configuring Firewall and DMZ infrastructure</b>, including rule set optimization</p><p>✅ <b>Strong operational knowledge of enterprise firewalls</b>, including at least one of the following:</p><ul><li>Fortinet</li><li>Palo Alto</li><li>Cisco Firewalls</li></ul><p>✅ <b>Working knowledge of networking protocols</b>, including:</p><ul><li>HTTP / HTTPS</li><li>FTP</li><li>TCP/IP</li></ul><p>✅ <b>Experience in software development using C or C++</b></p><p>✅ <b>Experience in the development of networking or security products</b></p><p>Preferred Skills & Certifications (Optional)</p><ul><li>Programming experience in <b>Java, Python, or Perl</b></li><li><b>CCNA or equivalent certification</b></li><li>Experience working in complex enterprise or high-availability environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p> </p><p><b>About Techiosoft</b></p><p>Techiosoft is a <b>global leader in next-generation technology, consulting, and business process services.
