<p><b>Title : Front-End Lead</b></p><p><b>Location: Toronto Canada</b></p><p><b>Employment Type: Contract/Fulltime</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p>We are seeking a <b>Frontend Lead </b>with strong technical depth and proven leadership experience to design, build, and scale highly performant frontend applications. In this role, you will lead frontend architecture and delivery across new and existing products,working closely with engineering, product, UX, and platform teams.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities and Duties</b></p><ul><li>Lead the <b>design, architecture, and delivery </b>of high-quality, scalable frontendsolutions aligned with a microservices-based backend.</li><li>Own frontend technical direction, including <b>framework standards, component libraries, performance optimization, and security best practices</b>.</li><li>Act as a <b>technical mentorand coach </b>forfrontend engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practices.</li><li>Partner closely with ProductManagers, UX Designers, and Backend Leadsto translate business requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.</li><li>Drive <b>sprint planning,estimation, and deliverycommitments</b>, ensuring predictable and high- quality releases.</li><li>Participate activelyin <b>technical and architectural discussions</b>, influencing long-term frontend strategy.</li><li>Ensure frontend applications meet high standardsfor <b>performance, accessibility, reliability, and security</b>.</li><li>Oversee and improve <b>automated testingstrategies</b>, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.</li><li>Continuously improvethe existing codebasethrough refactoring, performance tuning, and modernization initiatives.</li><li>Support hiring activities, technical interviews, and onboarding of frontend engineers as the team grows.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications and Skills</b></p><ul><li><b>8+ years of experience </b>in frontend or web application development using Agile methodologies.</li><li>Strong expertise in <b>JavaScript </b>and modern frontend frameworks such as <b>React or Vue.js</b>.</li><li>Proven experience leading frontend teams or acting as a <b>technical lead </b>on complex products.</li><li>Hands-on experience integrating and consuming <b>REST APIs</b>.</li><li>Strong understanding of frontendarchitecture, state management, and component-driven development.</li><li>Experience workingwith <b>CI/CD pipelines</b>, automated builds, and deployment workflows.</li><li>Proficiency with <b>GitHub </b>orsimilar code repositories.</li><li>Demonstrated experience collaborating with <b>UX designersand Product Owners </b>to deliverhigh- quality user experiences.</li><li>Strong experience implementing <b>automated testing</b>(Jest, Cypress, Playwright).</li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a <b>fast-paced, customer-centric </b>environment.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
