Trade Craft Inc. is seeking a Construction Foreman to apply his skills and experience to the diverse<BR>residential and commercial projects we take on and grow with us.<BR><BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> Prioritizes work schedules, ensure quality control and pace of work to meet preparation deadlines<BR>and standards<BR> Trains or arranges for the training of workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies<BR> Assists in managing the preparation and execution of construction projects, planning labor,<BR>equipment and material delivery requirements to ensure timely completion of projects<BR> Responsible for crew safety; promoting a safe work environment and conforming to safety policies<BR>and work procedures<BR> Communicates effectively and respectfully with all levels co-workers, supervisors, clients and<BR>public while providing leadership/ supervision and work direction to the crew<BR> Organizes and tracks crew time/ activity<BR> Completes timely reporting of accidents, near miss, first aid, and incidents<BR> Identifies materials and tool requirements to be on-hand as needed<BR> Ensures working tools are used properly and returned. Defective equipment tagged and turned in<BR> Completes work orders and track field quantities<BR> Informs manager of any scheduling conflicts and resolves work problems<BR> Completes all required paperwork such as toolbox talks, job sheets, traffic plans, etc.<BR> Reviews all jobs assigned to ensure no issues and plan effective use of all materials<BR><BR>Job Requirements:<BR><BR> Minimum 5 years of Construction Foreman experience required.<BR> High-School Diploma a minimum, preferably vocational training and/or trade certificates.<BR> Demonstrated experience in work organization and supervision of at least 10 people, knowing when<BR>and how to communicate changes or concerns regarding the job site, safety requirements, and staff<BR>requirements, etc.<BR> Experience with forming, framing, taping/plastering, and carpentry.<BR> Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and other various construction-related drawings.<BR> Personable and able to interact appropriately with customers and suppliers; must be a good<BR>representation of the company.<BR> Punctual, reliable and accountable for tools/materials being used on site.<BR> Good knowledge of various trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.)<BR> Physically fit (can lift 50+ lbs) and work in all types of weather and terrain.<BR> Can accommodate a flexible working schedule to accommodate client requirements. Hours may vary<BR>depending on the season.<BR> Must be able to travel across the GTA for projects.<BR> Valid Ontario Drivers License, clean driving record.<BR> Must be able to provide references for work performed and equipment used upon request.Create Your Resume First
