<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>General Manager</strong><br><br> Our client is a busy and growing, established consumer goods manufacturing business in the Vancouver area. <br /> They are looking for a General Manager to oversee the business operations, strategic direction and leadership of the company.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Provide overall leadership and direction for the business, ensuring cost targets are met</li><li>Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards </li><li>Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop management and supervisory teams across the business; foster a strong performance and accountability culture</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed</li><li>Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment across all departments</li><li>Other as required </li></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><br /><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field </li><li>7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment (consumer goods, food, beverage, pharma or related preferred)</li><li>Proven experience managing large teams, budgets, and complex operations</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities</li></ul> Salary in the 180-200,000 range.<br><br> If this exciting opportunity is of interest to you, please send us your resume today!</p></p>Create Your Resume First
