<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $45k - $55k<br /><p></p><p><br /></p><p>Who are we?</p><p>Proax Technologies is a leading Technical Automation Distributor that offers innovative product solutions in the areas of Automation and Robotics, Motion Control and Machine Safety, creating close relationships with our valued customers, vendors, and employees.</p><p><br /></p><p>Why Join our Team?</p><ul><li>Great Place to Work</li><li>We offer an engaging, inclusive, clean, and safe work environment</li><li>Technical training of our products to ensure quality customer service</li><li>Opportunities for career growth and development</li><li>Competitive salaries and benefits</li><li>Work with collaborative team members in the automation industry</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>General Description</p><p>The HR Coordinator will be responsible to assist with all day-to-day operations of the human resources department with duties in the following areas: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, compensation, payroll, health and safety programs and processes, and ad hoc projects as they arise.</p><p><br /></p><p>Employment Details</p><ul><li>Employment Type: Full-time, 1 year contract</li><li>Work Location: Mississauga, Ontario</li><li>Vacancy Status: Existing Vacancy</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Job Duties / Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance</li><li>Responding to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, vacation, and other employment related issues</li><li>Providing back up to payroll accountant for full cycle semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls for employees in multiple provinces</li><li>Working with the finance department for all payroll related inquiries and balancing the payroll for accounting purposes</li><li>Processing leaves and terminations with accurate and current reporting including preparation and submission of ROEs</li><li>Performing administrative tasks such as completing employee documentation, recording data on each current employee; maintaining and filing paperwork of terminated or exiting employees</li><li>Organizing and managing new employee orientation and on-boarding programs</li><li>Maintaining documentation of employee absences, bonuses, and personal time</li><li>Administering the employee Group Benefit Plan including new hire set-up, employee record maintenance and status changes</li><li>Supporting the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, assisting in shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and performing background checks</li><li>Assisting supervisors in annual performance management procedures</li><li>Monitoring vacation tracker for vacation and sick days and other absences of the employees</li><li>Processing month-end, quarter-end and year end transactions related to Employer Health Tax and Worker compensation boards of multi-provinces</li><li>Supporting other functions as assigned</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Work Experience Requirements / Skills</p><ul><li>1 to 2 years HR and Multi-Province Payroll related experience</li><li>Post-secondary education in human resources or related field</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel</li><li>Ability to communicate fluently in English and French is an asset</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Educational Requirements</p><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration required</li><li>The Certified Human Resources Professional designation is an asset</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Compensation</p><ul><li>Expected Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills and qualifications and falls within the expected range for this role.</li></ul><p></p><p>We use No AI in our recruitment process.
