We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!</p><p>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>Job Description<p><strong>Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional - Gatehouse (Part Time)  in Mississauga, ON</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Security Professional - Gatehouse (Part Time)<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Mississauga, ON<br /><strong>Position Type:</strong> Part-time<br /><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $18.75 per hour<br /><strong>Schedule:</strong> Saturday-Sunday | <span >Day/Afternoon/Evening</span></p><p>                 08:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 3:00PM -11:00PM</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We are currently seeking a dependable and professional <strong>Security Professional - Gatehouse (Part Time)</strong> to support operations at a large-scale commercial and industrial site in <strong>Mississauga, Ontario</strong>.</p><p>This position operates within a high-security, 24/7 environment and plays a critical role in maintaining the safety of personnel, protecting property, and <strong>Enforcing Access Control Procedures</strong>. The successful candidate will be responsible for <strong>Gatehouse Operations</strong> monitoring activity across multiple fixed posts and ensuring all security policies and procedures are consistently followed.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Site Surveillance & Patrol:</strong>Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property</li><li><strong>Visibility & Coverage: </strong>Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities</li><li><strong>Access Control: </strong>Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols</li><li><strong>Communication: </strong>Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies</li><li><strong>Emergency Response: </strong>Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively</li><li><strong>Incident Documentation: </strong>Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements</li><li><strong>Compliance with Safety Procedures:</strong> Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution</li><li><strong>General Security Duties:</strong> Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):</strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years of experience working in mobile security</li><li>Must have a valid<strong> Ontario Security License.</strong></li><li>Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 hours a week.</strong></li><li>First Aid and CPR</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p><p> </p><p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
