Adecco in partnership with our manufacturing client in Scarborough is seeking a skilled <strong> Industrial Electrician </strong> to join their growing team. This position is responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-volume manufacturing equipment, including vacuum forming machines, CNC routers, and conveyor systems. <br> This position is a hands-on, safety-focused professional with strong electrical expertise and solid mechanical aptitude. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting ongoing production demands. <br> If you are looking for a steady employer with opportunities to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply. <br><ul><li><strong>Pay Rate: $41/hour + shift premium</strong><br></li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Scarborough, ON<br></li><li><strong>Shift: </strong>Afternoon (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM)<br></li><li><strong> Job type: </strong> Permanent Full-time <br></li><li><strong> Vacancy Status: </strong> This posting is for an <strong> existing vacancy </strong> . <br></li></ul><strong> Responsibilities: </strong><br><ul><li> Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forming machines, CNC routers, and conveyor systems. <br></li><li> Diagnose and repair control circuits, sensors, relays, motors, VFDs, and automation-related issues. <br></li><li> Assist with mechanical repairs in collaboration with millwrights and maintenance team members. <br></li><li> Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and contribute to equipment reliability initiatives. <br></li><li> Respond to machine breakdowns promptly and ensure effective resolution. <br></li><li> Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures. <br></li><li> Complete cross-shift training prior to transitioning into the afternoon shift role. <br></li></ul><strong> Qualifications: </strong><br><ul><li>3-5+ years of industrial electrician experience in high-volume manufacturing.<br></li><li>442A Electrician License preferred; 433A Millwrights with strong electrical skills may be considered.<br></li><li>Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, control circuits).<br></li><li>Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens and others) and ability to assist with basic PLC troubleshooting.<br></li><li>Preventative maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment (vacuum forming, CNC routers, conveyors).<br></li><li>Strong safety awareness and ability to work collaboratively in a small maintenance team.<br></li><li>Dual-ticket candidates (Electrician/Millwright) may qualify for a higher rate.<br></li><li>Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong team-oriented approach.<br></li><li>Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada <br></li></ul> Are you interested in this position?
