Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented <strong>Shipper Receiver</strong> to support warehouse operations in Mississauga, ON for a 6-month contract. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products, parts, warranty returns, and parcels while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. <ul> <li> <strong> Pay rate: </strong> $22/hour. <li> <strong> Location: </strong> Mississauga, ON <li> <strong> Shifts: </strong> Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm <li> <strong> Job type: </strong> 6-month contract Full-time </ul> <strong>Here's why you should apply: </strong> <ul> <li> Hires fast, pays weekly. <li> 4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque. <li> Medical and dental benefits once qualified. <li> Free training programs <li> New and quicker onboarding process </ul> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li> Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pump trucks <li> Shelve and organize products and supplies according to the warehouse plan <li> Maintain clean, safe, and organized inventory areas <li> Coordinate outside storage requirements with management <li> Perform shipping functions including coordination with customer receivers and external office representatives <li> Pick, assemble, and securely package products for outbound shipments <li> Load outbound trucks accurately and safely <li> Ship parts and parcels following written instructions from Sales, Administration, or Service <li> Assist with packing and schedule couriers or carriers as required <li> Complete shipping documentation, labeling, and customer invoice processing <li> File documentation accurately and provide shipment updates to management <li> Conduct inventory checks and participate in physical inventory counts <li> Ensure inventory is clearly labeled, organized, and easy to locate <li> Perform daily forklift safety inspections and maintain safety logs <li> Report equipment maintenance needs to management <li> Ensure safe forklift operation, including use of wheel chocks and adherence to safety protocols <li> Maintain valid forklift / reach truck operator certification <li> Perform occasional warehouse or building maintenance tasks <li> Control warehouse access and ensure the facility is secured at end of day </ul> <strong>Requirements:</strong> <ul> <li> Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada. <li> Minimum high school education (post-secondary diploma or relevant experience preferred) <li> 2-3 years of warehouse or shipper/receiver experience <li> Experience working in an Oracle WMS environment is an asset <li> Valid forklift and reach truck certification <li> Strong understanding of warehouse organization and material handling <li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills <li> Ability to multitask and learn basic product and company processes <li> Ability to lift up to <strong>50 lbs.</strong> regularly <li> Steel-toe safety shoes required <li> Comfortable working around moving pallets, cartons, and warehouse equipment </ul> Apply now to this <strong> Shipper/ Receiver </strong> job in Mississauga, ON for immediate employment consideration.
