The Inventory Controller is located on site and typically reports directly to the Facility Manager.</p><p>Inventory Controllers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate inventory for facility needs. </p><p>Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Maintaining and updating required inventory levels for goods, products, and Materials</li><li>Manage and maintain customers Inventory Control Program (WASP) </li><li>Conducting quality checks on stored inventory to comply with company standards</li><li>Processing and documenting returned items</li><li>Implementing inventory management procedures and processing invoices </li><li>Performing clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers, and helping customers </li><li>Monitoring inventory losses and implementing loss-prevention programs</li><li>Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers</li></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Communicates Effectively </li><li>Problem Solving and Innovation </li><li>Teamwork and Collaboration</li><li>Values and Respects Others</li></ul><p><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years of experience in inventory control or equivalent</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS </strong></p><p>Proficient user of:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of an Inventory Management Software is an Asset (WASP, Fishbowl, or inFlow, etc.)</li><li>MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)</li><li>JD Edwards knowledge would be considered an asset</li><li>Valid Ontario G Driver&#39;s License is required</li></ul><p>Black & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities. <br /></p><p>Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process.</p></p></p>
