<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>The Rohit Group is searching for an analyst to join our corporate treasury team. Based in our head office in downtown Edmonton, our treasury team is a shared function across the Rohit Group, and as such you will serve and gain exposure to all divisions of Rohit (Homes, Communities, Commercial, Rental Living, and Infrastructure).</p><p>Reporting to the Manager, Treasury, you will actively support the group’s treasury operations, including the time-sensitive and actionable analysis to support project <span >financings/investments.</span> This role requires a candidate with strong analytical and communication skills, an ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and who works well in a collaborative team.</p><p><strong>The Rohit Group’s Treasury team</strong><br />• Supports the financing of real properties, both under construction as well as those operating in an asset portfolio.<br />• Monitors project and company cash flows.<br />• Manages bank accounts and relationships.<br />• Prepares various financial reports.<br />• Manages the corporate insurance program.<br />• Supports the Manager in driving strategic treasury initiatives, process improvements, and cash <span >management/minimalization</span> projects nationally.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities Include</strong><br />• Assist in the administration and management of the Company’s credit facilities by modeling any associated assets, costs, and cash inflows.<br />• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate and detailed project advance (quantity surveyor) reports.<br />• Providing insight to the treasury manager on daily cash/banking activities to identify continuous improvements to our processes.<br />• Supporting in a wide range of Treasury related administrative and operative tasks contributing to smooth daily operations.<br />• Assisting in or leading the creation of large financial models and dashboards.<br />• Verifying the integrity of data sets from a variety of sources.<br />• Supporting year-end and interim audits.<br />• Performing other duties, including ad hoc analyses projects, as assigned.</p><p><strong>Our Ideal Candidate</strong><br />• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative field.<br />• Has a minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a related field or role.<br />• Possesses superb attention to detail.<br />• Can recognize key risks and will question existing <span >tasks/methodologies</span> with a view to improving overall processes, generating efficiencies, and strengthening the existing control environment.<br />• Is very comfortable with statistical, financial, or computational modeling.<br />• Holds advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as well as visualization tools to create effective charts, tables, and graphs.<br />• Has demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and/or relational databases.<br />• Effectively communicates insights to their supervisor or other project stakeholders.</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
