<p><b>Position Title:</b> Mechanical Planner – Mill Maintenance (Mining Industry)</p><p><b>Location:</b> Sudbury</p><p><b>Rotation:</b> 14 days on / 14 days off</p><p><b>Type of work:</b> Fly in / fly out</p><p><br></p><p><b>Overview</b></p><p><b>Systemex Industries</b> is an industrial engineering and technical services firm specializing in <b>maintenance</b>, <b>asset reliability</b> and <b>operational performance optimization</b>.</p><p>We are currently seeking <b>Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Planners</b> to support our major clients in the <b>mining industry </b>through specialized mandates. These professionals will be involved in strategic projects focused on maintenance planning, execution of planned shutdowns, equipment reliability improvement, and operational support, based on each client’s specific needs.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Perform <b>field scoping</b> to assess equipment conditions and define work requirements.</li><li>Develop and manage <b>preventive maintenance (PM) programs)</b> for mill equipment.</li><li><b>Build detailed maintenance schedules</b> in coordination with operations, reliability, and maintenance teams.</li><li><b>Order and track parts, tools, and materials</b> required for planned work.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance plans, histories, and updates.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.</li><li>Ensure all planning activities adhere to <b>mine safety standards and operational procedures</b>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><b>Technical diploma (DEC / college-level) or degree</b> in <b>Industrial Mechanics, Electrical Technology, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance</b>, or a related technical discipline. Engineering degrees in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are also considered.</li><li>Minimum of <b>3 years of practical experience in maintenance planning or coordination</b>, ideally in a <b>mining or heavy industrial environment</b>.</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>mechanical and electrical systems</b>, maintenance workflows, and work execution in an industrial setting.</li><li>Experience with <b>Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)</b>; proficiency with <b>Oracle</b> or <b>Viziya</b> is a strong asset.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, with the ability to translate field requirements into structured maintenance plans and schedules.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Work Location: In person</p><p></p>
