With steady year-over-year expansion, they offer genuine opportunities for advancement and personal development.</p><p>The project is located in Martensville, just 8 kilometers north of Saskatoon.</p><p>What You Will Do:</p><ul><li><p>Interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints, and communicate effectively with team members and site personnel</p></li><li><p>Plan, execute, and oversee construction activities to ensure project objectives are met</p></li><li><p>Provide daily project status updates to the superintendent and other stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with safety policies and enforce safe work practices</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example and guiding team members</p></li><li><p>Mentor labourers and carpenter apprentices</p></li><li><p>Assign tasks to crew members and subcontractors for efficient workflow</p></li><li><p>Enforce quality standards to ensure work meets specifications and industry expectations</p></li><li><p>Work year-round in various weather conditions, ensuring all safety protocols are followed</p></li></ul><p>You Will Bring:</p><ul><li><p>Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with expertise in both concrete and wood-frame methods</p></li><li><p>At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role on construction sites</p></li><li><p>Strong background managing large-scale projects, particularly involving concrete</p></li><li><p>Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter certification is preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to read blueprints and construction schedules</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel to other project locations across Canada if required</p></li><li><p>Basic computer skills for task management and communication</p></li><li><p>A proactive, can-do attitude with resilience and professionalism</p></li></ul><p>This is a permanent, hourly position offering $36$46/hour, along with a competitive salary package and comprehensive benefits.
