<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b><strong>Planner Scheduler – Portfolio Optimization</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Position Summary</strong></b></p><p>The Planner Scheduler – Portfolio Optimization provides advanced Primavera P6 scheduling analysis and portfolio-level planning support for a large, multi-year capital program. This role focuses on consolidating schedules across multiple projects, developing integrated plans, and performing critical path and scenario-based analysis to optimize work sequencing, outage planning, and execution feasibility.</p><p>Working closely with Planning Engineers, Project Managers, Project Controls, Construction, and Operations teams, this role ensures that complex, concurrent work at shared facilities can be executed safely, efficiently, and within defined operational and site constraints.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Collect, review, and validate detailed Primavera P6 schedules from multiple project teams across the portfolio</li><li>Develop and maintain integrated, multi-project schedules for shared sites and coordinated outage windows</li><li>Perform critical path, float, and logic analysis to identify sequencing constraints and execution risks</li><li>Conduct what-if and scenario-based planning to evaluate alternative sequencing strategies and optimize site utilization, outage timing, and operational impacts</li><li>Partner closely with Planning Engineers to translate field-level sequencing concepts into executable schedule logic</li><li>Identify, assess, and clearly communicate schedule conflicts, interface risks, and execution bottlenecks to project teams and leadership</li><li>Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Controls Schedulers, Construction Management, and Operations to align assumptions, constraints, and execution strategies</li><li>Ensure schedule data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple projects and workstreams</li><li>Support portfolio-level reporting, insights, and recommendations related to schedule feasibility, optimization, and risk mitigation</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>4–7 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or Project Controls within industrial or infrastructure environments</li><li>Advanced hands-on experience with Primavera P6, including logic development, critical path analysis, and scenario modeling</li><li>Strong understanding of construction sequencing and interfaces across mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation scopes</li><li>Proven experience coordinating schedules across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder groups</li><li>Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of schedule data</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex schedule impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Experience in oil & gas, pipelines, facilities, or other heavy industrial environments is strongly preferred</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
