<p><b>Senior Recruiter – Electrical/Warehouse Distribution & Logistics</b></p><p><b>Location:</b> Vaughan, ON</p><p><b>Employment Type:</b> Full-Time, On-Site</p><p><b>Schedule:</b> Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM</p><p><b>Pay Rate: </b>$25/hour.</p><p>2 month contract to start with potential extension or permanency.</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a driven and experienced <b>Recruiter</b> to join our client's growing team at their head office in Vaughan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and brings a strategic, competitive mindset to recruitment. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across a diverse range of roles—from high-volume general labour to technical and senior-level positions—within the electrical distribution, warehousing, and logistics sectors.</p><p>The successful candidate will step into a high-impact role, partnering closely with hiring managers and supporting business-critical staffing needs across Canada with <b>minimal onboarding or supervision</b>.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Manage the <b>end-to-end recruitment process</b> for roles spanning general labour, technical specialties, sales, and management across multiple provinces.</li><li>Partner with hiring managers to <b>understand complex job requirements</b>, build recruitment strategies, and align hiring practices with business objectives.</li><li>Proactively <b>source niche talent</b> through headhunting, social networks, industry platforms, referrals, and direct outreach.</li><li>Write compelling job postings tailored to attract specialized candidates in electrical distribution and related industries.</li><li>Screen and assess candidates for both technical fit and cultural alignment.</li><li>Coordinate interviews, facilitate offers, and support onboarding.</li><li>Maintain detailed records, reports, and applicant tracking across multiple active requisitions.</li><li>Actively contribute to internal communications and employee engagement initiatives as part of a collaborative HR team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Hiring Scope</b></p><p>You’ll be responsible for staffing a wide range of roles including:</p><p><b>High-volume recruitment:</b></p><ul><li>Warehouse Associates</li><li>Delivery Drivers</li><li>Counter Sales Staff</li><li>Forklift Operators</li></ul><p><b>Specialized & strategic recruitment (40% of requisitions):</b></p><ul><li>Quotation Specialists</li><li>Project Coordinators</li><li>Lighting Specialists</li><li>Supply Chain Specialists</li><li>Inside/Outside Sales Representatives</li><li>Pricing Analysts</li><li>Buyers</li><li>Branch Managers</li><li>Account Managers</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Note:</b> Experience recruiting in <b>electrical distribution or a related niche industry</b> is strongly preferred due to the specialized nature of many roles.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Minimum <b>2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience</b>, including mid-to-senior level roles.</li><li>Proven ability to <b>source hard-to-find candidates</b> in a competitive market using advanced sourcing strategies.</li><li>Experience managing <b>multiple open requisitions</b> across various job families and locations.</li><li>Ability to work independently, prioritize under tight timelines, and maintain a high level of execution.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Previous experience in <b>electrical distribution, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain</b> industries is a <b>major asset</b>.</li><li>Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
