This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to achieve strong business results with you being accountable for driving sales performance, strengthening operational execution, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring each location delivers an exceptional customer experience. T</p><p><br /></p><p>The core accountabilities that follow establish the performance expectations and leadership responsibilities for this position.</p><p><br /></p><p>Core Accountabilities:</p><p><br /></p><p>1. Sales & Revenue Growth</p><p> Achieve regional sales targets, margin goals, and profitability objectives.</p><p> Ensure consistent execution of the companys sales process across all branches.</p><p> Coach and develop Branch Managers, sales counter staff, and sales representatives to deliver on company and branch goals.</p><p> Identify market opportunities and support local business development initiatives.</p><p> Promote and support Sinclair and vendor marketing programs.</p><p> Visit customers to develop relationships and assess customer needs.</p><p> Develop sales action plans with Branch Managers for each location to increase revenue and identify opportunities for margin improvement.</p><p> Understand and develop potential pricing strategies for market while ensuring pricing procedures and controls are in place.</p><p><br /></p><p>2. Operational Excellence</p><p> Ensure all locations adhere to company SOPs, operational standards, and best practices.</p><p> Oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse processes, order fulfillment, and delivery performance.</p><p> Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to eliminate gaps and improve efficiency and consistency.</p><p> Conduct regular branch visits to audit performance and ensure operational and safety policy compliance.</p><p> Continuously monitor staffing requirements for region and communicating regularly with HR to fill resourcing gaps.</p><p><br /></p><p>3. Financial Management</p><p> Manage the P&L for the region, including sales, margin, operating expenses, and cost controls.</p><p> Monitor and analyze KPIs such as sales, margin, inventory turns, and productivity.</p><p> Support branches with accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.</p><p> Drive accountability for both revenue and margin growth as well as expense management.</p><p><br /></p><p>4. Talent Leadership & Development</p><p> Recruit, onboard, and develop Branch Managers, and key frontline staff.</p><p> Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action when required.</p><p><br /></p><p> Build a high-performance culture that promotes accountability, engagement, and teamwork.</p><p> Support succession planning and leadership development for the region.</p><p> Ensure Branch Managers and their teams consistently complete product training to build technical proficiency.</p><p><br /></p><p>5. Customer Experience & Retention</p><p> Ensure each location delivers a consistent, high-quality customer experience.</p><p> Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented and issues resolved.</p><p> Promote customer-first behaviors and reinforce service standards across the region.</p><p><br /></p><p>6. Compliance & Risk Management</p><p> Ensure all locations comply with safety protocols, HR policies, and legal requirements.</p><p> Conduct regular audits related to operations, inventory, financial controls, and safety.</p><p> Maintain safety reporting disciplines in accordance with Provincial standards, hold Branch Managers accountable for reporting all Safety and near-miss incidents.</p><p> Mitigate operational risks through training, process enforcement, and follow-up.</p><p><br /></p><p>7. Strategic Execution</p><p> Translate company strategy and new initiatives into clear regional action plans.</p><p> Lead adoption of new systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools) and ensure full utilization.</p><p> Support new market initiatives, product introductions, and growth programs.</p><p> Communicate strategic priorities clearly and ensure consistent execution.</p><p><br /></p><p>8. Communication & Reporting</p><p> Maintain open, consistent communication between frontline teams and senior leadership.</p><p> Provide conflict resolution guidance to employees.</p><p> Provide timely reporting on regional performance, opportunities, and challenges.</p><p> Facilitate effective branch visits, review meetings, and leadership touchpoints.</p><p><br /></p><p>9. Continuous Improvement</p><p> Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.</p><p> Lead improvement projects that increase sales, reduce costs, or improve customer experience.</p><p> Encourage innovation and feedback from teams to improve business processes.</p><p><br /></p><p>Experience and Skill Requirements:</p><p> Post-secondary education, degree, diploma or technical designation required.</p><p> 5+ years management experience in <span >wholesale/distribution.</span></p><p> Management experience in HVAC(R) industry a benefit.</p><p> Experience managing multiple branches.</p><p> Valid driver's license and driver's abstract required.</p><p> Travel requirement - approximately 35%.</p><p><br /></p><p><em>We look forward to meeting you!</em></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
