And we’re just getting started!</p><p></p><strong>About the Role</strong><p>As a <strong>Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the Data Team</strong>, you will play a key role in building and evolving the systems that power Solink’s data applications—from ingestion and real-time processing to customer-facing experiences and internal tooling.</p><p>This role is ideal for a senior engineer who is comfortable working across the stack, brings strong backend and data-centric expertise, and can influence technical direction beyond individual tickets. You will help shape architecture, mentor teammates, and ensure our data systems scale reliably as Solink grows.</p><p></p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong><ul><li><p>Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across data applications, with a strong emphasis on backend and data infrastructure (roughly 60–70% backend).</p></li><li><p>Develop and evolve data pipelines, event-driven services, and APIs that support real-time and analytical use cases.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to system design decisions, balancing scalability, performance, reliability, and developer experience.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and R&D partners to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.</p></li><li><p>Mentor and influence other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and informal knowledge sharing.</p></li><li><p>Continuously improve the team’s tooling, processes, and architecture, including thoughtful adoption of AI-assisted workflows where appropriate.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><p><strong>Must-Have Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong experience as a senior-level full-stack or backend-leaning engineer, with the ability to contribute across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with React or similar frontend frameworks.</p></li><li><p>Deep proficiency with <span >JavaScript/TypeScript</span> and modern backend development (Node.js or similar).</p></li><li><p>Experience designing and operating data-heavy or event-driven systems (e.g., data pipelines, integrations, real-time services).</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern deployment patterns (serverless, infrastructure as code, or equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to influence technical decisions beyond your own code.</p></li><li><p>Experience building <strong>data visualization, dashboards, or reporting applications</strong>, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and clarity of insights.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of <strong>analytics and reporting concepts</strong> (metrics, dimensions, aggregations, filtering, drill-downs).</p></li><li><p>Ability to collaborate closely with Product and Data partners to translate <strong>business questions into effective visualizations</strong>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with data warehousing or analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and streaming technologies.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to scaling systems in high-growth or “next-stage” environments.</p></li><li><p>Interest in applying AI/ML or AI-assisted development techniques to improve product capabilities and team productivity.</p></li><li><p>Experience integrating or embedding <strong>BI / analytics tools</strong> into customer-facing or internal applications.</p></li><li><p><strong>Familiarity or hands-on experience with ThoughtSpot</strong> is a strong plus.</p></li></ul><p></p><strong>Security Requirements</strong><ul><li><p>Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;</p></li><li><p>Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;</p></li><li><p>Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.</p></li></ul><p></p><strong>Our Values</strong><p>We do things the Solink way:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Act with URGENCY</strong> – Our customers move fast, so we do too.</p></li><li><p><strong>Deliver with QUALITY</strong> – We sweat the details and hold a high bar.</p></li><li><p><strong>Win with TEAM</strong> – No egos.
