<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Reporting to the Operations Director in Toronto,Canada, the Senior Project <span >Manager/Construction</span> Manager will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of designated Power Distribution, Transmission & Substation Services for projects across Ontario.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of the project from initiation to completion.</li><li>Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand project outcomes.</li><li>Oversee quality, material & subcontractor management processes for assigned projects.</li><li>Responsible for the financial performance of designated projects. </li><li>Reports issues to Operations Manager regarding financial performance, workload status, potential legal issues, and potential opportunities.</li><li>Resolves project-level legal disputes and escalates issues to Operations Manager.</li><li>Ability to build and develop a project management team alongside the superintendent with clearly defined responsibilities, covering all aspects of the operation.</li><li>Prepares employee development and succession plans for key positions in the department.</li><li>Ensures that all activity on the designated project is consistent with corporate and divisional strategic plans, business plans, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Understanding change order management & contract management</li><li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as required</li></ul><strong>Required Knowledge and Experience</strong>.<br /><ul><li>Bachelors in civil or electrical engineering</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role.</li><li>Experience in the substation Contracting Industry.</li><li>Experience working along rail corridors would be an asset</li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects independently</li><li>Solid understanding of estimating, project forecasting, and change management principles and processes.</li><li>Experience in planning, scheduling, and team building.</li><li>Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to resolve project disputes with minimal assistance.</li><li>Availability to collaboratively work within both an office and site environment.</li><li>Sound computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project required</li><li>Valid Canadian visa required - no sponsorship available</li></ul> Salary - $120,000 - $150,000<br><br>All applications will be reviewed by the consultant posting the job and NOT an ATS tracker.
