For our client in Toronto -based which is a trusted, licensed Ontario general contractor specializing in turnkey construction, renovations, and project management across industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare sectors.</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>We are seeking a driven and experienced Site Supervisor to lead and manage daily site operations for restoration, renovation and general contractors projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and can ensure site efficiency, safety, and quality.</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Title: Site Supervisor<br>Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)<br>Employment Type: Full-Time<br>Industry: General Contractors / Construction</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li>Supervise daily on-site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, trades, and site staff to maintain project schedules and scope.</li><li>Monitor construction progress and proactively address issues or delays to keep projects on track.</li><li>Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OHSA regulations and company safety protocols.</li><li>Interpret and work from blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to guide field operations.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with Project Managers, consultants, inspectors, and clients to report on-site progress and challenges.</li><li>Manage material deliveries, site inventory, and logistics to ensure timely execution and minimize disruptions.</li><li>Prepare and maintain detailed daily site reports, work logs, and project documentation.</li><li>Participate in project start-up and close-out activities, including deficiency tracking, final inspections, and punch list completion.</li><li>Ensure safe and proper use, storage, and maintenance of site tools, equipment, and temporary structures.</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul><li>3+ years of supervisory experience in construction, in general construction, restoration or renovation projects. ICI Projects.</li><li>Solid understanding of construction practices, building codes, and health & safety regulations.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team coordination and problem-solving.</li><li>Experience managing subcontractors and site logistics.</li><li>Proficiency in preparing site documentation and reports.</li><li>Valid drivers license and reliable transportation; safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) are an asset.</li></ul> <p><strong>Education & Certifications:</strong></p> <ul><li>Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.</li><li>IICRC Certification (WRT, FSRT, AMRT) is an asset.</li></ul> <p><strong>Compensation & Benefits:</strong></p> <ul><li>Competitive salary.</li><li>Company vehicle or car allowance.</li><li>Paid vacation</li><li>Supportive team and growth-oriented company culture.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
