<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist</strong></p><p><strong>Full-Time | Permanent | Afternoon Shift</strong></p><p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> <strong>$30.00 – $40.00 per hour</strong> (based on experience)<br /><strong>Shift Premium:</strong> 5% of hourly rate<br /><strong>Overtime:</strong> Paid after 40 hours per week<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Mississauga, Ontario</p><p></p><p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>A well-established <strong>precision component manufacturer</strong> is hiring a <strong>Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist</strong> to support ongoing production and long-term growth.</p><p>This role is suited for an experienced machinist capable of <strong>programming, setup, and operation</strong> of advanced 5-axis CNC milling equipment. The environment is clean, professional, and focused on high-precision, low-tolerance work. Turnover is low, and long-term growth opportunities exist for the right individual.</p><p></p><p><strong>Shift Details</strong><strong>: </strong>Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday</p><ul><li>Monday–Thursday: <strong>4:30 PM – 2:00 AM</strong></li><li>Friday: <strong>3:15 PM – 7:15 PM</strong></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and operate <strong>5-axis CNC vertical milling machines</strong></li><li>Perform<strong> programming, setup, and operation</strong></li><li>Load, unload, modify, and optimize CNC programs</li><li>Select, change, grind, and set cutting tools</li><li>Adjust feeds and speeds to maximize efficiency and part quality</li><li>Use appropriate fixtures, indicators, and tooling</li><li>Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance compliance</li><li>Read and interpret <strong>drawings, blueprints, and GD&T</strong></li><li>Deburr and prepare parts before and after machining</li><li>Operate equipment in accordance with all safety procedures</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Required Experience & Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong>7+ years of CNC machining experience</strong> in a precision manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong experience with <strong>5-axis CNC milling</strong></li><li><strong>Fanuc and/or Haas control experience required</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>Mastercam</strong> strongly preferred</li><li>Ability to independently program, set up, and run jobs end-to-end</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)</strong></li><li>Previous jobbing shop experience is an asset</li><li>Formal CNC training, certification, or apprenticeship is an asset</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Eligibility & Security Requirements</strong></p><p>This role is subject to <strong>Controlled Goods Regulations</strong>.</p><p>Candidates must:</p><ul><li>Be a <strong>Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident</strong></li><li>Successfully complete a <strong>Controlled Goods background check</strong></li><li>Pass a <strong>criminal background check</strong></li><li>Sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What’s Offered</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly compensation</li><li>Shift premium and overtime pay</li><li>Stable, long-term employment</li><li>Advanced machinery and challenging work</li><li>Growth opportunities within the organization</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Please note: </strong>Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.</p><p><br /></p><p>To Apply please email your resume to Syndel Gerlings at <span >sgerlings@fuzehr.com</span></p><p><br /></p><p>#OPSK</p><p></p><p></p></p></p>
