<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Description<p>This full-time, on-site position is ideal for experienced Senior Software Development professionals with experience in automated testing. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test (Sr. SDET) to join the Predictability Core team which is responsible for implementing new clinical features designed to improve the efficacy and predictability for our Invisalign product. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues from larger R&D group, Biomechanical team, Clinical experts and product managers, focusing on algorithmic and mathematical solutions for orthodontic problems spread across different geographies. As a Sr. SDET, you will design and extend automatic test systems for complex problem domains in a regulated medical environment using Python</p><br />Role expectations<ul><li>Interact closely with clinical experts, project managers, product owners, and software developers, to analyze specifications and deliver detailed requirements.</li><li>Find advanced solutions for verifying open-ended clinical requirements.</li><li>Develop functional, regression, performance, and integration testing solutions using test automation tools</li><li>Perform exploratory testing to quickly uncover problems and to guide the development of more formal test scripts.</li><li>Write and review automatic tests, and support software developers in writing tests early in the development process.</li><li>Troubleshoot and triage manually reported problems and feedback.</li><li>Contribute to documentation, architecture, and project planning and sizing.</li><li>Participate in release preparation: software verification, maintenance of test coverage, troubleshooting and production support.</li><li>Set up, maintain, and improve reliable test environments and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Set up, configure, maintain, and improve existing automation frameworks. Research new test tools, test methodologies, and trends, to upgrade existing practices and processes and to create new frameworks.</li><li>Collaborate with other teams to improve automation, QA methodologies, and best practices throughout the company.</li></ul><br />What we're looking for<ul><li>Excellent knowledge and practical experience with Python</li><li>Experience in testing complex 3D Software</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience in software development</li><li>Deep understanding and 8+ years of practical experience with tools, methodologies, and frameworks for automatic software testing</li><li>Experience in Agile SDLC</li><li>Working knowledge of GIT</li><li>Experience in writing and maintenance of technical documentation</li><li>Highly motivated, creative, self-starter, with excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and a “can do” attitude. Thrives in a high-paced, multi-task environment</li></ul><p><strong>Complementary skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in working with PyTest and Open3D Python library</li><li>Experience with Build Management, Software Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release Management activities</li><li>Experience working in highly regulated industries (such as Banking, Financial, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Aerospace, etc.)</li><li>Experience working with Atlassian stack Bamboo, Zephyr, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence etc</li><li>Experience working with Splunk which our primary monitoring tool</li><li>Mathematical background, and knowledge of optimization methods, linear algebra, analytical geometry, and/or 3D graphics on a university level</li></ul><br />Pay Transparency<p>If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. </p><p> </p><p>For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. </p><p> </p><p>Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.<br /><em><br /></em>This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization.
