<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We’re hiring a <strong><strong>hands-on Working Foreman / Lead Mechanic</strong></strong> to support a modern construction equipment rental operation. This role is ideal for a <strong><strong>strong troubleshooter</strong></strong> who enjoys solving complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues—and leading by example on the shop floor.</p><p>Location: <strong><strong>Hamilton, ON</strong></strong><br /><strong><strong>$40.00–$45.00/hr (flexible for top talent)</strong></strong><br />Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT after 44 hrs)<br /><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose and repair <strong><strong>aerial lifts, forklifts, and construction equipment</strong></strong></li><li>Lead complex breakdowns and “hard-down” repairs</li><li>Read and interpret <strong><strong>hydraulic schematics and electrical diagrams</strong></strong></li><li>Support and mentor technicians while remaining hands-on</li><li>Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced rental environment</li></ul><p><strong><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Senior mechanic or lead technician experience (rental or heavy equipment preferred)</li><li>Strong <strong><strong>hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting</strong></strong> skills</li><li>Ability to diagnose—not just replace parts</li><li>Positive attitude, team-first mindset, no ego</li><li>Comfortable asking questions and collaborating</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Why Apply</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Newer fleet (no outdated residential equipment)</li><li>Stable day shift with consistent hours</li><li>Flexible pay with <strong><strong>potential raise after 90 days</strong></strong></li><li>Extended health benefits + RRSP match</li><li>Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding operation</li></ul></p>Company Description<p>We work with you to ensure the job fits what you are looking for.
