<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong><strong>Based in Mississauga, ON | GTA Coverage (Hamilton → Toronto → Ajax/Pickering)</strong></strong><br /><strong><strong>$35.00–$45.00/hr (flexible for strong troubleshooters)</strong></strong><br /><strong><strong>Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | OT after 44 hrs</strong></strong><br /><strong><strong>Take-home service van</strong></strong></p><p>We are hiring a <strong><strong>Field Service Technician</strong></strong> to support a modern, business-to-business equipment rental operation across the GTA. This role is <strong><strong>70% field-based / 30% shop-based</strong></strong>, ideal for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting, independence, and working as part of a strong service team.</p><p><strong><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose and repair <strong><strong>aerial lifts and forklifts </strong></strong>in the field</li><li>Troubleshoot <strong><strong>hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems</strong></strong></li><li>Read and interpret <strong><strong>schematics and wiring diagrams</strong></strong></li><li>Handle complex breakdowns and hard-down repairs calmly and professionally</li><li>Complete some shop work out of the Mississauga location</li><li>Participate in a <strong><strong>limited, rotational on-call schedule</strong></strong></li></ul><p><strong><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Strong troubleshooting skills (not a parts-changer)</li><li>Experience with rental, forklift, aerial, or heavy equipment</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong><strong>hydraulics and electrical systems</strong></strong></li><li>Positive attitude, team-first mindset, no ego</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable work history with strong references</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Why This Role</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Modern, well-maintained fleet (no outdated residential equipment)</li><li>Stable daytime schedule with consistent hours</li><li>Competitive pay with <strong><strong>potential review after 90 days</strong></strong></li><li>Extended health benefits + RRSP match</li><li>Long-term opportunity with a growing operation</li></ul></p>Company Description<p>We work with you to ensure the job fits what you are looking for.
