<p>IT Business Systems Analyst V</p><p><b>Location:</b> Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, Fridays WFH)</p><p><b>Rate:</b> $85–$95/hr</p><p><b>Contract:</b> 1 year (extension / conversion possible)</p><p><br></p><p>Overview</p><p>We are seeking a senior <b>IT Business Systems Analyst</b> to support large-scale Treasury Technology and Capital Management initiatives within a financial services environment. This role will focus on moving in-house EUCs to vendor platforms, enabling new data flows, and supporting market risk and capital management system transformations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Translate capital management business rules into detailed technology requirements, mappings, and controls</li><li>Author user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability artifacts using JIRA and Confluence</li><li>Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogs, and control documentation to ensure audit readiness</li><li>Prepare and execute test cases, QA activities, and defect triage</li><li>Conduct data discovery and profiling across critical capital data sources</li><li>Build data and process flows using Visio, Confluence, and related tools</li><li>Perform SQL-based analysis across large datasets</li><li>Collaborate closely with business, technology partners, and Agile POD teams</li></ul><p>Must-Have Qualifications</p><ul><li>7+ years translating business rules into technology requirements with full traceability</li><li>Strong hands-on <b>SQL</b> and data analysis experience across large datasets</li><li>7+ years in data integration, testing methodologies, and process documentation</li><li>Proven experience creating data/process flows and governance artifacts</li><li>Solid understanding of financial products and capital-related data</li></ul><p>Nice-to-Have</p><ul><li>Experience with Capital/Credit engines, QRM, or Market Risk technology implementations</li><li>Familiarity with Axiom for capital reporting</li><li>Experience in Treasury or Capital Management technology</li><li>CFA or FRM certification</li><li>BSA or related professional certification</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Note: We use AI tools to: obtain basic information, detect plagiarism, false employment history or references, categorize your skills, and do an initial match with job posting.</p>
