<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Architectural Sales Representative (Ontario)</strong><br /> Location: Ontario (GTA Preferred) <br />Compensation: $84,000 + Commission + Car Allowance + Fuel Reimbursement Benefits + RRSP Match<br><br><strong>Overview</strong><br /> We are seeking an experienced Architectural & Design (A&D) Sales Representative to manage and grow a high-potential Ontario territory within the architectural building materials sector. This role is responsible for driving specification, project influence, and brand presence within the A&D community.<br /> The successful candidate will inherit an existing book of business and will work closely with an internal outside sales partner to convert/pull-through specifications into active projects and revenue.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with:</li><ul><li>Architects</li><li>Interior Designers</li><li>Developers</li><li>Specifiers and design firms</li></ul><li>Conduct 8+ lunch-and-learn presentations per month.</li><li>Drive product specification on commercial and multi-residential projects.</li><li>Collaborate with contractor-focused sales reps to convert specifications into sales.</li><li>Manage pipeline and activity through CRM (HubSpot).</li><li>Track KPIs, forecast opportunities, and report weekly to ownership.</li><li>Attend industry events, design shows, and networking functions.</li><li>Act as brand ambassador within the design community.</li></ul><strong>Territory</strong><br /><ul><li>Province of Ontario</li><li>Primary focus on Greater Toronto Area (GTA)</li></ul><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong><br /><ul><li>Non-recoverable draw: ~$84,000 base</li><li>Commission: 3% on all sales</li><li>Car allowance</li><li>Fuel reimbursement</li><li>Full benefits package</li><li>RRSP matching</li><li>One week of paid training in Edmonton</li></ul><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong><br /><ul><li>3+ years in A&D sales within:</li><ul><li>Flooring</li><li>Architectural surfaces</li><li>Interior finishes</li><li>Building products</li></ul><li>Strong network within:</li><ul><li>Architectural firms</li><li>Design studios</li><li>Development community</li></ul><li>Highly professional presentation and communication style.</li><li>Comfortable delivering technical product presentations.</li><li>Self-driven, organized, and relationship oriented.</li><li>Experience working on commission or draw-based compensation.</li></ul><strong>Success Factors</strong><br /><ul><li>Ability to influence specifications early in the project lifecycle.</li><li>Strong personal brand within the design community.</li><li>Consistent prospecting and relationship development.</li><li>Confident in front of senior architects and designers.</li><li>Collaborative mindset with contractor sales teams.</li></ul> This is a pure A&D role — not contractor sales. This is for someone who lives and breathes the design community and understands how architectural influence drives revenue.</p></p>
